Demand is growing for the DIRECTAIR® product offered by OTC Industrial Technologies. As manufacturers look to increase energy efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize production by ensuring uptime on critical equipment like air compressors, more companies are turning to managed utility services like DIRECTAIR®. To meet the demand, OTC opened a new manufacturing facility just outside Cincinnati, Ohio.
The new facility increases the production capacity for DIRECTAIR® by 300%. This includes rental and support for the compressed air equipment, direct piping for the DIRECTAIR®, and other production capabilities related to compressed air.
In addition to DIRECTAIR®, the new facility will serve as a second hub for OTC's rental air compressors. OTC is a leader in compressed air sales, service, and rentals.
The Cincinnati location is the second facility opened to directly support DIRECTAIR® services.
“OTC is the largest compressed air sales, service, and manufacturing company in the United States, and we have more than 210 DIRECTAIR® sites currently operating,” said Adam Gibbs, president of air supply at OTC. “We look forward to the next 100 we will produce in our new expanded facility.”
DIRECTAIR® is a compressed air utility service for manufacturers. OTC’s in-house air service experts manage the service at the facility. With DIRECTAIR®, compressed air is provided as a utility, like electricity and water. Manufacturers pay for only the compressed air they use, and the latest, most energy-efficient equipment is installed to eliminate costly air-related expenses and reduce energy use. The OTC team handles installation and service, providing a 100% reliable compressed air solution with an uptime guarantee.
